I've always been wondering whats so good about the ice talent tree for mages 50 and above that do lots of dungeons and raids. I mean if you went fire, wouldnt you do way more crzy damage? ice slows guyz down i guess, but i think a mage's true job is to just do crazy damage ok i need to step in now. Ice players have awesome mana efficiency, and much higher crit chance. It does less burst damage, but when the fire mage has run out of mana, ice mages truly shine. Also, ice mages have some serious talents that make them awesome. Ice block is great. It completely wipes aggro and makes you invulnerable. If Onyxia is going to use her deep breath ability (doom for all it hits. 16k damage or something) you just ice block and you have no aggro anymore and you're alive. And if you just used frost nova and the cooldown isn't ready yet, iceblock and then you're ready again. In PvE, it's like a soulstone. just wipe aggro when you're dying. And, there's a lot of people with Fire resistance armor. Frost mages have excellent survival, as they can freeze the enemy, and then they get a plus 50 percent bonus to crit, and a plus 100 percent damage to crits. Fire is good for leveling, but frost is pretty much standard for raids. Lern2play! (jk)

Boasting, eh? We'll see what happens when a Pally goes against...a PRIEST!!!
Again, we should just make the characters all on one server, especially when Burning Crusade comes out, so we are pretty much around the same level. That way, we can make some sort of guild, and we all can work together. Plus, the items won't be insanely overpriced due to inflation.
(If you don't know what I mean, go to a full server, and check Auction House prices. Linen Cloth for 6 gold PER CLOTH?! Not even per stack!? Worse, people BUY THOSE!!!)

wow... 6 gold... i bet i could have bought an epic mount when i was level 30 if i was on that server. Vendor prices would be so off nothing would work.

Talents are accessible when you hit level 10. You can specialize in something for, say, your hunter. I think the best to go into is either Beast Mastery or the shooting talent tree for damage and stuff. But, you don't have to put talent points in every time, so you can wait. However, they do come in handy.
Also, just wait 'til you get your pet. Pets will be what saves your dwarf (or even Night Elf) behind in sticky situations.

Alright, about talents, marksmanship is usually a solid PvE and raiding tree to invest in. Survival is geared towards PvP but used correctly, it can be powerful in PvE too. Beast mastery is more of a leveling up tree. It's kind of like this, your character without talents is normal. But when you invest in beast mastery, your very strong. The problem is, if your pet dies you're in hot water. Marksmanship will make you strong, but last as long as your alive. Pets run our of focus faster than you do in marksmanship, so if you think you'll be fighting for long periods at a time go with marksmanship. Remember, i'm not a level 60 hunter so i'm not sure. This is just the information i extracted from playing a bit, looking at websites, and spending hours looking at the talent tree.
