If and when our first meeting comes, what consoles should be there? Game cube or PS2. I don't think anyone has an X box so that's out. Or maybe none since it'll be informational. Sorting stuff and such. I think it should be none, but the next meeting should have game cube. (with super smash bros of course)

I have an X-box. But we should make it more informationtional, and probably ask which kind of consoles we should have.

I think that we should provide the systems, not ask members to bring them in. that may be a bit of a liability issue. But yeah, I think it should be purely informational

Mark again like I said you don't pay attention, Aaron, me and maybe you if you want to. will provide the games and stuff unless they want to bring in their own handheld games and I guess a Laptop to play WoW or something. So most of the main games will be provided by us, or at least the consoles and then the members con also offer to lend the game for the meeting to play and discuss it, but they will never at anytime have to bring in a console. Hopefully, unless they really want to bring their's in.

Possibly, if everyone chips in, we could get a community console, like the PS3. To expensive to get on ones own, but if we have say 20 members it would only be $30. Then everyone who donated could take it home for a weekend or something.

No I thinlk that it would be too hard to get it all formed and stuff and then the sharing it would be really hard to organize. And I wouldn't really feel comfortable doing that it seems a lot to ask from the members and the PS3 is going to cost like 300 plus dollars.

You guys. If you posted well, I wouldnt have to do all this moderating. First of all, this thread starts to go off topic, and parts of it belong in the club info section, second Garrin your post should go in its own place, not because its off topic, but because the topic to which you replied is off topic. Not trying to be to picky, just want it to be organized

we should get something cheaper like the nintendo wii thats a) half the price and b) much more multiplayer friendly. besides brawl is coming out. although i dont have any idea when it will be released. ive heard several dates ranging from November 19-March 23. still, it could replace the gamecube that someone will bring in so that there wont be any liability issues. although the ps3 has amazing graphics, its too expensive.

Umm yeah, Matt we're just talking about suggestions, we're not exactly sure of anything yet, but I know that Aaron and I both want Wiis so it will probably going to get those first.

well what about people who dont have controllers? people arent joining this to sit around watching they want to play, and if we only let people with controllers play then only people with controllers will stay.

Yeah we thought that we'd have like handheld games too like a couple of ds' out or a psp and people can bring in their own and play wirelessly or I bring in a link cable fo GBAs. and since we're going to be playing the game up on the big sceen then we can have discussions about stratiges that you could put into use about the game, or we could have move than one game console going on I am still looking for a cheap but good sized screen.

i have plenty for all 3 present gen consoles plus a 360, which i can always bring in. just making sure u know that the ps3 would be bout $600. too bad, it would've been cool having a shiny ps3 at school to play. and i'm sure there are a lot of rolling tvs at school not in use either
