What do you guy's think about games that are based on television show and movies? Most of the time they're not very good giving the exception of the starwars games except a couple, I always get a game based on some movie every Christmas or Birthday the latest game like that was either spiderman or Starwars episode 3 they weren't that good like the graphics were really bad and the storyline wasn't very good because it didn't really follow the same polt of the movie. I have never played a game based on a TV show like the Ed, Edd, and Eddy games, or the disney games. they seemed really dumb, have any of you guys played any of these types of games?

doesn't naruto qualify as a tv game? you play that. anyway, it's hard to generalize all tv games. some are good like king kong. That was a great game. some are bad like spongebob squarepants....

I never played King Kong but I did hear that it was good, I think that you told me that Aaron last year. but Naruto is a comic book based game very similar but no dice.

no I can Mark. The production values of movies that do really bad sucks, and the ones which are box office hits or if there is a lot of hype(like harry potter) for the movie they turn out to really good so in general they aren't very good.

what about movies made from games, like doom, res evil, silent hill, i think those usually do better

it depends on the type of game. Usually RPGs work well, but FPSs usually don't have as much story. In that case, the movie producer needs to make a new story. I think at that point its not as much a movie based off the game. FFVII AC was a FFVII movie because it is a continuation of the story. just my opinion

Movies based on games are different though Michael, I still don't know how the made a FPS a movie, even if it had The Rock in it. The FFVII movies I never saw too, but a lot of nerd went crazy over the movie.

please don't do that mark, and yes i went slightly crazy over FF7 AC. I mean it's just so awesome. I guess if the movie or TV show is good, then you'll think of that while playing the game. Also, it's fun to play with and control the main characters.

I am sorry I made a mistake by grouping all of them together like that, but they made a family guy video game how can you play that without feeling kind of dumb. I geuss that all vieo games are based on something though right, so I am just horrible about grouping games together.
